INTERNATIONAL CREDIT UNION LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION CO.LTD - A CHARITABLE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

On 14th June 2023, Companies House in London confirmed receipt of the application to "strike off" the ICULD&E Company Ltd from its registry of companies. The formal notice that the company has been struck off will appear shortly in HM Government’s newspapers, the London and Edinburgh Gazettes.

This action to close down the activities of both the ICULD&E Company and Foundation was taken as a result of the age (82) and ongoing health issues of Director Barry Epstein, M.Ift, I-CUDE and the retirement of Co-Director Marilynne Epstein.

All funds remaining in the Foundation’s bank account were donated to the Australian Mutuals Foundation, its strategic partner, to carry on its work, much of which is compatible with the erstwhile efforts of the ICULD&E Company and Foundation..

Still under consideration are possible future formats for the Edward Filene Credit Union Awards for Performance Excellence, Great Britain & Ireland and the Joe Biden Awards for the Development Educator of the Year from Africa, Asia, Australasia, Caribbean, Europe and North America .
